Weekend Throwing & Turning Workshop
An exciting weekend workshop designed for both beginners and intermediates, where you'll master the art of pottery.
You are booking a two day, weekend workshop with our Associate Artist, Neville Tatham (covering while Iris Dina Gunnarsdottir is on maternity leave). Saturday: you'll dive into throwing on the potter's wheel. Sunday: you'll learn to turn your creations into beautifully finished pieces.
This hands-on workshop offers you the opportunity to practice and refine your skills under expert guidance. Beginners will benefit from step-by-step instruction in throwing, while intermediates will receive support to enhance their techniques and confidence. There might even be time to try pulling a handle.
By the end of the weekend, you'll have experienced the entire potter's wheel process, from throwing to turning, leaving you with valuable skills and a sense of accomplishment.
