Team Raku Experience - Corporate
Nestled in the bucolic charm of Cuckoo Farm Artist Studios, Peter Jones and technician Eddie Dann will create an immersive, not to be missed Raku experience for your team.
“Colchester Makerspace facilitated an amazing programme of raku firing for our team away day. The session was creative, informative and thoughtfully-structured. Fun with ceramics, food and fire - best team day ever!”
Holly Lewis, Co-founder, We Made That
This ancient Japanese craft, renowned for its meditative qualities, is presented in a contemporary western style. Participants will experience the thrill of removing pottery from a 1000°C kiln and engaging in a post-firing process that creates a unique reduction atmosphere. This not only alters the glaze colours but also induces a distinctive crackling effect, ensuring each piece is a one-of-a-kind.
