Etruscan Red Smooth 159-1139

An unsanded version of the Etruria Marl-based red earthenware body famously used to produce the Tower Poppies.

Highly plastic for throwing, handbuilding and casting. Fires to a medium red colour, becoming darker with increased temperature

Recommended firing range: 1060-1160 C (Cone 04-4)

Indicative texture 3 (Smooth 1-Coarse 10).

Indicative % Total Contraction @ 1100C 14.
