Hand-building Techniques With Clay
Working with clay by hand, using only simple tools, explore everything from hand-built pots and coiling to pinch pot and slab techniques.
In this class you will be introduced to clay as a material by Associate Artist Harriet Caslin. Through hand-building techniques, you will explore the way clay behaves and how you can work with it. This will include learning how to use our heavy-duty slab-roller machine. You will be able to test your creative abilities and we will fire your final piece in our kiln.
